Here are some nature pho­tos from walks I have gone on and around our new home. Since we first saw our house in late Novem­ber and moved in dur­ing the cold­est part of Jan­u­ary, we had no idea what would spring up in our yard. I looked at it as a blank can­vas to plant all the things I ever wanted. But, to my delight, almost every­thing I wanted to grow sprouted when the snow finally melted away in early May.
